I know you’ve heard me say this before, and I’m going to say it again; I am all about the strategic investment shopping. Getting pieces that are versatile and can be worn for years to come for a great ROI! Karina Dresses are perfect for fitting into all the aspects of your life from work to play and everything in between!
Great for when you’re on the move as their dresses do not wrinkle (whoop-whoop), Karina Dresses also have a classic silhouette that focus on highlighting the smallest part of the waistline and creating an hourglass silhouette! Light-weight and super comfy, these dresses are also ideal for layering to create a whole new look!
The Joan Dress is easy to wear and pairs beautifully with so many pieces in my wardrobe. Worn here with a fuchsia suit, you can wear it as a dress over pants, or you can give the hem a little twist and tuck and rock it as a top. This is a little trick I learned from @MissLionHunter and I will never stop doing it – thanks Mo!:-)
But, the remixing does not stop there. Tuck this dress into a skirt and create a whole new look! I opted to pull mine off the shoulder to show off a little more clavicle (someone told me that this is a sexy part of the body;-). I also love that there is stretch in Karina Dresses so that if your anything like me and you have experienced a bit of weight gain during this pandemic, it will still fit!

Now, let’s talk prints! I love that Karina Dresses offer their pieces in a variety of prints and styles. I am a sucker for a black and white print, so I was immediately drawn to this particular dress.
I knew I wanted to do a little print on print mixing with this one, so I pulled out my trusty plaid double-breasted blazer to throw on top and some knee high boots to add a little kick!
I just love the versatility of this dress as I can mix and match it in so many ways. Throw a sweater over the top and you can create a boho chic look, or pull down the top and rock it as a skirt. Add a cute blouse and you’re good to go! If the dress feels a little loose around your hips, you can always add a skinny belt underneath to hold it in place. This is something I do to extend the versatility of my pieces (tricks and tricks and tricks! They’re not just for kids!). But, please note, the dress is not made to be worn as a skirt, I just like to remix my pieces in different ways!
As I mentioned earlier, versatility is everything, especially these days. I love that I can remix these dresses in so many ways to create new looks without having to spend more money on a whole new wardrobe! Classic, comfortable and cute, three c’s that equal the perfect Karina trifecta!

Cece Dress: Karina Dresses
Vintage inspired Karina Dresses, heralded as the original “easy” dress, still lives up to its moniker. If you’ve been following us over the last little while you’ll see we’ve featured Karina Dresses several times – we are Big fans! To say this dress is comfortable is an understatement. It’s perfect for work, leisure and travel when we finally get out from under lockdown ☹ I especially love the fact that this dress doesn’t need to be ironed.
This dress makes getting dressed well, so easy and fun. The style I’m wearing is called the CeCe and is a fit and flare style with v-neck, has short sleeves, an umpire waist and most importantly has POCKETS!
The dress is perfect for working from home as it gives you a pulled together look for those zoom video meetings.
Now, I love when my clothing offers some versatility, so I added a belt to switch it up.
And of course I had to step if up further by morphing my dress into a top by adding this floral skirt over it.
The second dress I’ve featuring is this polka dot faux wrap style. This look features ¾ length sleeves and modified shawl collar.

So, this dress is ripe for a remix and so I added a black pleather trench coat and then took up a notch with white wide leg pants.
I tucked in the hem of the dress into the waist for a cool draping effect.
Moreover, you could also flip it and reverse it even further by wearing the dress backwards, ok stay with me now, wear it backwards then pull on shoulder down for a cool off the should look. Like I said, versatility is the name of the game when it comes to my clothing!
