See Rose Go: The Go To Dress Part 1

I’m always on the look out for new plus size pieces to add to my wardrobe that are comfy and versatile. This Little Black Dress (LBD) fits the bill for sure. The other thing that drew me to this company is their commitment to designing premium, modern and fashion forward clothing for plus size women that work for their bodies and their lives. Founders, Erin Cavanaugh and Yi Zhou have worked diligently to create functional yet modern designs. So, follow along as I take this See Rose Go dress for a spin!

So first thing first, I’m wearing the dress backwards in a size 3X. The dress features a rose gold zipper right down the center. The cut is form fitting but it does follow the line of the body very nicely. The dress also has the holy grail of features – inseam zippered pockets! WOOHOO! I ADORE pockets so much!

The back of the dress which you’re seeing now features really cool pleats. Also, the dress itself is made from what See Rose Go calls “Cool Rose” jersey material and is anti-piling – YES! Also, the dress does not need to be ironed, so it travels really well for those of you who need to travel for work frequently or for those of you who, like me, hate ironing. LOL

So, I decided to jazz up this lovely dress with a simple black patent leather belt and grip patterned socks with white pumps. If socks and heels isn’t your bag, its all good, remove them and do you boo. 🙂

So, as I’ve mentioned earlier, this dress is VERSATILE and I decided to add crisp white pants underneath the dress.

What I really love about this dress is the options it provides. For so long, plus size women like me were forced to only shop at a handful of stores and online retailers and its just really nice to have more than one or two places to frequent.

So, I’m not done styling this stylish wonder. Stay tuned for part 2!

And that’s the long and short of it.

Gail xoxo
