We are back with part 2 of our swimsuit sensation! We’ve found when traveling that we love to have a few swimsuits to choose from. Depending upon where you’re traveling to, the temperature (more specifically the humidity) and your access to amenities, sometimes that swimsuit just won’t dry over night and putting on a damp cold bathing suit has never been a pleasant experience to me (no matter the temperature outside). So, here are a couple more swimsuit options that might peak your interest for that summer vacay!

Picture it, I’m sauntering Betty Boop style down the Italian coast line in Positano (of course also imagine no COVID). I finally make it to my lounge chair, recline and sip my Bellini and sigh thinking this is the life honey!
All I can say is I have a very rich inner life LOL so all of that came to mind as I was shooting this gem of a swimsuit from Joe Fresh, part of the Roxy Earle’s Picks from their plus size swimwear collection.
I love this sexy swimsuit because I feel like a million bucks in it! It features a fun twist detail at the bust, adjustable straps that are also removable! I love having all those options. Plus the bikini top also has a fun cut out feature in the back.
The bikini bottoms are high waisted and feature ruching on the side panels. The cut is very generous for those of us who have some extra junk in our trunks.
I completed my look with some gold accessories and I’m good to go!

Yes, I will admit that I have been known to wear some very itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny bikinis in my life, but this is actually the first retro style bikini I’ve every rocked. I was stuck in my rut of triangle top and small bikini bottoms, but this little number opened my eyes, and its got versatility in spades!
I love that this bikini is high-waisted and is super comfortable. No digging out wedgies, or wondering if you waxed enough or fearing wardrobe malfunctions with this one! You are good to go on all counts. AND the pièce de résistance is that this bomb bikini is reversible! You choose your which way to rock it based on your mood. Everyone will think you’ve got 2 when you only spent money on one! Whoop-whoop!
I absolutely love the bold print (on both sides) and the colours. I feel both retro and modern at the same time. See, this suits got double the personality! This suit is also great if you prefer to cover up those tiger stripes (i.e. stretch marks) as it offers more substantial coverage on the booty than the traditional triangle bikini bottom.
Though this was my first test drive with a retro style bikini, it will most definitely not be my last. I love this swimsuit and with the kind of punch that it packs, I will not be able to resist getting another one!:-)
