We are back at it again with eShakti! While they have many more classic styles, more and more we’ve found since we discovered them in 2009 that they are moving into providing more offerings that suit many different tastes, and their Zappelle collection is great for the woman looking for something a little less traditional. So for this installment of The Long & Short of Style x eShakti, we wanted to bring you our personal picks. Pieces that perfectly fit our personal style and tastes!
Leslie’s Jumpsuit Dream
Jumpsuit (gifted): eShakti // Sweater: Chicwish // Stilettos: Office (old, similar here) // Booties: TopShop // Purse: Zara (old, similar here) // Belt bag: Zara (sold out similar here) //
My plus size babes, this jumpsuit comes in all sizes so we’ve got you covered! Sweater // Sweater //
I have been feeling the jumpsuits lately, but it’s definitely been a challenge. When your tall (I’m 5ft9) and about a size Us 2 – 4, jumpsuits can sometimes seem to be trying to disrespect your lady bits LOL not to mention where the hemline stops. But this was not a concern when it came to this gorgeous faux leather chocolate coloured jumpsuit dream from eShakti.
I’ll admit it, Gail put me on to this jumpsuit as she is on the eShakti site religiously checking out what’s new. But babes, I can tell you it was love at first sight. The prospect of ordering a jumpsuit on-line and not having to worry about potentially being cut in half from the crotch up was exhilarating!
AND, with eShakti, I used to put in my measurements to get the best fit, until I realized that their size chart is really on point for both Gail and I. I can just select a standard size and voila, 9.5 times out of 10, it fits perfectly! Since you get to put in your height, you get the right size for the right height taking into account all your 2000 parts (including those lady bits)! I have a long torso and even with that fact, the jumpsuit still fits like a dream!
The quality of this jumpsuit is also fantastic. You know how sometimes faux leather can feel hard and, well, really fake. The faux leather used in this piece is very good. It feels soft and rich and like something you’d be happy to jump into (please excuse the pun).
I plan to wear this jumpsuit in so very many ways, but since the temperatures are still a little on the cooler side, I decided to rock it with this great cropped sweater. Love the layering and it also means I can wear fewer outer layers when I’m running the streets! It also works so well for both daytime, like going for a nice brunch with friends or the fam, or nighttime, accessorizing with some great earrings and fab shoes a bracelet or two and you’re good to go!
The long and short of it is that I adore this jumpsuit and it will be in regular rotation in my day to day life! RE-GU-LAR!LOL Thank you again eShakti!
Gail – Striped to the Max
Dress (gifted): eShakti (sold out) similar here // Belt: Ashley Stewart // Sandals: Shoe Dazzle (sold out) similar here
For my tall glamazons, this dress is also available in your sizes!
Picture it, you’re sippin on a peach and mango mimosa about to enjoy a delicious brunch all while looking super cute in this striped knit dress. This lightweight knit dress is perfect for a day out with friends, perfect for the office (just throw on a cardi or blazer) and packs really well when traveling.
The quality of this dress is top notch. It features a pleated skirt with blue edging around the neck and arm holes – but most importantly the dress has POCKETS!!!!!
As it is a knit dress I sized down as I wanted a more fitted look around my waist. I also added this iridescent belt to further cinch in my waist. To complete my look I added some white sandals and sunnies!
And that’s the long and short of it!
Gail & Leslie xoxo
